Placements
Trusted care, thoughtfully matched
Connecting families with expert newborn care specialists and postpartum doulas — from day one and beyond.
EVERY placement, guided with care and discretion.
What is a Newborn Care SPECIALIST?
You may know them as baby nurses or night nannies — but a Newborn Care Specialist is a distinct and highly experienced professional. NCS providers are skilled in up-to-date newborn care and health practices, feeding support, and recognizing early signs that may warrant closer attention. Many also incorporate gentle sleep conditioning from the beginning — establishing habits that benefit the whole family long after the newborn stage has passed.
We provide steady support from introduction through contract coordination for both families and providers with discretion and care
All services are thoughtfully structured with flexibility to align with your family’s needs, timeline, and desired level of support. Providers are compensated directly by parents, while the Luxe Baby fee is separate and reflects our private matching process, professional vetting, and ongoing support throughout the placement.
Overnight Newborn Care
Expert support during the long, sleep-deprived nights of early parenthood.
Parents are able to rest and recover while their baby’s overnight needs are handled with expertise, attentiveness, and a deep understanding of newborn feeding, sleep conditioning, soothing, and infant care. The result is greater peace of mind, restorative sleep, and a more supported transition into life with a newborn.

Postpartum Support
Daytime & Evening Care
A Postpartum Doula provides nurturing daytime and evening support centered around the recovery of the birthing parent. Whether caring for your baby while you rest, shower, eat, or simply take a moment to breathe, we help create the space new parents need to heal — physically and emotionally — after birth.
From newborn care and gentle household assistance to emotional support, our care is designed to help your family feel rested, supported, and cared for during the postpartum period.
Provider rates from $50–$60/hour
When we were interviewing Newborn Care Specialists, we didn’t have a list of questions — it was more of a gut feeling.
“As soon as we met Ximena, placed with us through Luxe Baby Custom Newborn Care, we were immediately relaxed by her calm, warm, and inviting energy. Her knowledge and skill set were very clear from all of her experience — my husband and I knew she was the one.
After giving birth, I pushed our start date back a few nights out of postpartum fear — I wasn’t sure I was ready for a stranger to help. The second she arrived, we instantly felt at ease. Ximena quickly started to feel like a family member we couldn’t wait to see. She helped navigate my breastfeeding journey, got us on a schedule, and troubleshot multiple areas of having a newborn. Whenever we had doubt, we asked Ximena rather than Google.
We cannot recommend her enough. We’re looking forward to bringing her back for our second baby.”
