We believe the newborn stage deserves care that feels calm, informed, and free of pressure. Questions will arise. Sleep will fluctuate. Emotions will run close to the surface. Our role is to offer reassurance and perspective, helping parents move through this season with confidence rather than overwhelm.
Our philosophy is rooted in gentle, evidence-based principles and responsive, respectful care. We honor each baby’s developmental rhythm and parents values, approaching early parenthood with intention, integrity, and trust.
This is not about doing things the right way. It is about supporting parents as they find their way, with peace of mind and a sense of steadiness that supports the parenthood journey.
A Note from Our Founder
Dear Parents,
For more than three decades, I’ve had the privilege of caring for babies and supporting parents during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. I am a Newborn Care Specialist, a CAPPA-trained Postpartum Doula, and a Sleep Consultant.
My hands-on experience with babies began long before my professional training. As the eldest of ten children—including twins—I was actively involved in caring for infants from a young age. While I didn’t yet understand the depth of that responsibility at the time, those early experiences quietly shaped the steady, respectful approach that guides my work today.
I stepped away from this work for several years after my daughter was born, but the pull to return to supporting babies and parents was unmistakable. Being there for a parent who is overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure is what continues to guide my work.
I’m also incredibly proud that my daughter has followed in my footsteps. From a young age, she spent summers alongside me during my nanny placements—gaining hands-on experience that has helped shape the care she brings to this work today.
I created Luxe Baby so parents would have a place to turn during this tender season—a place where you can feel supported as you find your way into parenthood.
