Dear Parents,

For more than three decades, I’ve had the privilege of caring for babies and supporting parents during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. I am a Newborn Care Specialist, a CAPPA-trained Postpartum Doula, and a Sleep Consultant.

My hands-on experience with babies began long before my professional training. As the eldest of ten children—including twins—I was actively involved in caring for infants from a young age. While I didn’t yet understand the depth of that responsibility at the time, those early experiences quietly shaped the steady, respectful approach that guides my work today.

I stepped away from this work for several years after my daughter was born, but the pull to return to supporting babies and parents was unmistakable. Being there for a parent who is overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure is what continues to guide my work.

I’m also incredibly proud that my daughter has followed in my footsteps. From a young age, she spent summers alongside me during my nanny placements—gaining hands-on experience that has helped shape the care she brings to this work today.

I created Luxe Baby so parents would have a place to turn during this tender season—a place where you can feel supported as you find your way into parenthood.
